With clinics changing hands, and names, and with new clinics springing up, we thought we should emphasise that we have now been around for 15 years! This year marks a truly special double milestone for us at The Doctors Laser Clinic: we’re celebrating an incredible 15 years of serving our wonderful community, and also a remarkable 10 years since we found our home at the beautiful Old Surgery in Poringland, Norwich.It’s a moment for reflection, and to say thank you to all the wonderful patients we have seen over the years. Our story began in 2010 with a clear vision: to provide doctor-led, safe, and highly effective aesthetic treatments. In those early days, our focus was on mastering and delivering excellence in:2010 – The Soprano XL
Laser Hair Removal: We wanted to start offering laser, and do it properly. That’s why, after a lot of thinking and testing of the different laser machines on the market, we decided the Soprano brand was the best fit for us. Launching with the advanced Soprano XL technology, we specialised in providing virtually painless and effective hair removal, even for sensitive areas.By 2012, listening to our patients’ needs, we took our first steps in broadening our aesthetic offerings:2012:
Anti-Wrinkle Botulinum Treatments: Introducing trusted solutions for dynamic wrinkles. Dermal Fillers: Adding options for restoring volume and smoothing lines.The following years saw us refine our expertise and invest further in technology:2014:
Soprano ICE Laser: We were so enamoured by the Soprano, we upgraded our laser hair removal capabilities with the even more advanced Soprano ICE system, enhancing patient comfort and results. This period solidified our reputation for excellence in laser hair removal.
Transformation at The Old Surgery
The year 2015 was truly transformative. It marked our move to The Old Surgery in Poringland, a beautiful space that allowed us to expand not just physically, but also in the breadth and depth of services we could offer. This new home became the launchpad for a new era:
2015 – The Year of Major Expansion:
- Harmony XL PRO Multi-Platform Laser: This versatile system opened doors to a multitude of new treatments.
- Tattoo Removal: A much-requested service, made possible by our new advanced laser technology.
- Comprehensive Skin Rejuvenation: Moving beyond basic skin tightening to offer a wider array of solutions for skin health and appearance.
- Vastly Expanded Treatment Portfolio: We proudly began offering solutions for a wide range of concerns, including:
- Scars, Unsightly Veins, Skin Blemishes, Sun Damage, Nail Fungus, Pigment Lesions, Acne Scarring, Uneven Skin Tone, Warts, Skin Laxity, and Psoriasis. We could now address over 60 Treatable Conditions.
- Specialised Treatments: Including treatments for Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Settled into The Old Surgery, our journey of innovation continued, pushing into more specialised and cutting-edge treatments:
2017:
- FemiLift: Introducing non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation, a groundbreaking service addressing intimate women’s health concerns.
- Fat Freezing: Expanding into non-surgical body contouring.
- CQC Registration: This period also marked a significant achievement in our commitment to the highest standards, as we proudly became CQC (Care Quality Commission) registered.
2020
- Micro-needling – Adding this popular and effective treatment for skin texture and rejuvenation.
- Accent Ultra for body contouring and Plexr for non-surgical eyelid correction – We enhanced our services with Accent Ultra for body contouring and introduced Plexr, a revolutionary plasma technology for non-surgical eyelid correction.
- Medik8 Skincare Partnership – Integrating professional-grade skincare to complement our clinical treatments.
