The Femilift procedure involves a narrow probe which is placed in the vagina and rotated while the doctor pulses the laser around the walls of the vagina almost painlessly. Like skin, vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibers which give it strength and flexibility. The laser technology is used to gently heat vaginal tissue, contracting existing fibers and stimulating the formation of new collagen. This in turn strengthens the whole area and greatly improves the pelvic floor.
