The Appliance of Science

The Appliance of Science

While the benefits of laser hair removal are well understood, the science behind how it’s done is something of a mystery. Although maybe not too much of a mystery – the clue, after all, is in the name.

This short film, produced by the good people at Veritasium (a YouTube channel devoted to all things scientific), provides a fascinating glimpse into just what happens when you undergo laser hair removal treatment (although our Soprano laser does it much more gently without the smoke and the drama – it’s all very gentle).  As well as seeing how it works close up – with the lasers engaged in an exciting ‘Gunfight at the OK Corral’ shootout with hairs – you can be reassured at just how safe and effective it is.

Of course, we wouldn’t recommend that you choose treatment just on the basis of this video. What we recommend is that you come and see us for a free consultation where we’ll tell you everything you need to know.

Still, this is a fun and enlightening insight into the mysterious (although not too mysterious) world of laser hair removal. Enjoy!
