Sun’s out, guns out! One of the nicest things about the summer is the feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. Ditching the long sleeves, wearing flip flops no matter where you’re going and dressing like everyday is a holiday. Summer dressing reveals some beautiful body art; tattoos seem to be getting more and sophisticated and intricate, no longer just generic tribal bands and tributes to loved ones. Unfortunately some people live with tattoos which they no longer like. Hiding it away in summer time is especially difficult.
Studies have shown that men are more likely to try and cover-up unwanted tattoos with additional art-work, but those same studies have also shown this subsequent work can result in an unhappy compromise. Thankfully tattoo removal has improved greatly in recent years and now offers incredible results.
At the Doctors Laser Clinic we use the Harmony XL Pro-Medical Grade Laser which tackles even the most stubborn ink, as well as bright colours that standard lasers just can’t remove. A world-class laser, with unparalleled ability to tackle tattoos of all colours and on all skin tones. It is powerful enough to target the inked skin without releasing much heat, therefore the treatment is amazingly efficient and effective whilst being as comfortable as possible.
As with all of our services, treatments are bespoke to meet your individual needs, however we usually see our clients at 4-8 week intervals to allow pigment to disperse and the skin to heal. Treatments are undertaken by a fully-qualified practitioners, with the experience and expertise to make your regrets a thing of the past.
The results are impressive and permanent. So maybe it is time to stop hiding your skin away and feeling embarrassed. We all make mistakes, but we don’t always have to live with them!
